Images of gardens I have enjoyed designing and planting

Aerial and ground views of a brick garden path surrounded by pachysandra and hosta plants. A gothic arbor frames a concrete bench and a sundial on a pedestal. In mid-summer, morning glories, sweet peas, clematis, and roses cover the arbor and cascade down creating a private garden nook.

The balance of varying plant heights, shapes, textures, and spacing draw your eyes around the yard in a visually pleasant way.

Creating little garden rooms within the entire garden provides secluded areas to relax and enjoy privacy while surrounded by beauty.

The right combination of plants and grass is restful to the eye.
